Keynote Speaker

Simon P. Anderson, Commonwealth Professor of Economics at University of Virginia, has kindly agreed to be the keynote speaker of this year's conference. Simon P. Anderson is the leading scholar in the field of industrial organization theory with the special interests in media economics and economics of advertising.

Simon's work has appeared in such top academic journals as American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy and the Review of Economic Studies, among many others. He is also a coauthor of a book, Discrete Choice Theory of Product Differentiation, which develops a framework how differentiated markets can be analyzed using discrete choice models of consumer behavior.
